Reserva is building a B2B wine distribution platform focused on commercializing specialty imported wines in selected markets in the US. Reserva is a licensed wine distributor serving producers and wine retailers. Combining the power of an innovative online B2B trading platform with ecommerce and marketing capabilities, Reserva enables producers to reach retailers across the US. For retailers, Reserva provides tools and resources to market their products to consumers while opening a new sales channel through online sales.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to develop this business and assume subsequent responsibilities as the business grows. We are looking for a versatile, energetic professional experienced in marketing, sales, or ecommerce, ideally with familiarity with the wine industry. In addition to engaging directly with producers and retailers, you will be responsible for producing striking presentations, marketing material, and content aimed at wine merchants. The marketplace manager will be responsible for prospecting new clients, coordinating communication, and producing marketing materials to connect with marketplace participants. We are passionate about wine, technology, and trading -and so must be the right candidate to assume this amazing opportunity.

Responsibilities

Conduct sales calls and online presentations 

Identify and reach prospective buyers and winemakers 

Onboard and support marketplace participants 

Design and deploy email marketing campaigns

Manage marketing and pricing sheets 

Produce marketing content and materials

Need to learn new technologies and help others adopt them as well

Must Have

Fluent english (read/write)

Email marketing and design experience

More about responsibilities: 

  • Develop deep knowledge of the world of wine and the wine industry (terms, classifications, regions)
  • Become well versed in supplier's product portfolio 
  • Create and deploy marketing campaigns for our different market segments
  • Create and conduct marketing presentations to customers  
  • Assume prospecting and market identification tasks
  • Communicate daily with team members on progress in the campaign and game plan for solutions and continued success

Requirements:

  • Experience working with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, etc.
  • 1-2 years in direct marketing, field marketing and sales, field sales, B2B or B2C sales, brand management, or a customer focused position
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presentation or the desire to enhance these skills with training
  • Quick learner and adaptable
  • Organized, well-spoken and ready to be challenged
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English

    Extra qualification points for:

  • Experience in food, beverage and/or hospitality industry
  • Direct experience managing/supporting/maintaining online store
  • Existing familiarity with the wine industry
  • Familiarity with business tools: CRM, Google Docs
